Minor Camogie match report

St. Mary's Minor Camogie team had a great quarter-final against Loreto Beaufort in Dublin and showed great skill and team work throughout the game. St. Mary's started off strong with a goal by Luli O'Sullivan which settled the team into the match. Our defence made many hooks and blocks and cleared every ball that came into our own 45. Loreto Beaufort began to put pressure on us but our forwards manage to score great points finished by Neasa McPhilips, Ava Whealan and Kate O'Dare. Loreto began to attack near the end of the second half but great saves from Keela Dunphy and brilliant defending by Aoife Keane kept us ahead at half time with a score of 2.07 to 0.0. The second half was a tougher half as Loreto began to show determination but Mary's responding with a fantastic goal by Maria Caldes which kept the teams confidence up. Our midfielders made great passes to the forwards which created score chances for the team. St. Mary's dominated the second half, showing Great team work and defending. Loreto scored a point near the end but it was St. Mary's day with a final score of 3.07 to 0.1.

Best of look to the team in the Semi-final next week.
