St. Marys Naas came out strong in the first fifteen minutes, with great work among the midfielders and half forwards. Great scores came from Almha O’ Rourke and Ciara Ryan. Excellent defending by our defenders with a great block and clearance from Megan Riordan. In the second fifteen minutes St Marys continued to dominate with more excellent scores from Kate Murphy, Ciara Ryan and Almha O Rourke. More fantastic defending and our midfielders continued to fight hard. At half time St. Marys we’re leading 5:7 to 0:0
Start of second half, Maryfield came out fighting with a great shot taken that was saved by St. Marys keeper Clodagh Corry to go out for a 45. St. Marys got the first score of the half with a great goal by Ciara Ryan. Maryfield then replied with an excellent point
St. Marys finish with a victory score line of 6:08 to 0:01.
