Commiserations to the Cadet B volleyball team who narrowly lost out to Strokestown CC in the All Ireland semi final in UL. They lost the first set 25-13 but battled back so well to claim the second set 25-16. The third set was very much tit for tat as serves from both sides coupled with strong spikes pushed the game the entire way. Level at 23-23 the girls unfortunately lost 25-23.
Congratulations to all of them on what has been a very exciting season filled with drama. For a team compiled of second and third years competing against girls two years older they should really be proud of themselves.
